They last a long time. Not as long as the description states. Mine last about 2.5-3 weeks.

However, if it's in the device, and your loose power, the camera keeps going. And then it recharges itself inside when power is on.

Makes it easier to swap instantly and keep your doorbell running without waiting for the battery to charge. Works with other ring products as well.

I've found even using the supplied USB cable and plugging into a power station that it takes the better part of an entire night and part of a day to charge the battery. This works well to have as a backup so I can have one ready to go when the other needs to be recharged. Pretty expensive for a battery though.

This battery holds a good charge and is better used when switching out the battery out of my Ring. This way I always have a fully charged battery on standby.
