I got an extra battery for one of the outdoor cameras and well worth it. The camera automatically switches to the full battery when one runs out.

Extra battery for security camera

We have a solar panel also but over the winter the one battery would get down to 70%. Got another battery so it's pretty much always at 100 now.

Now I am able to keep one ready to go. Even if it's every 6 months or so. No more down time.

Powerful and Long Lasting Battery

It does take a good 5 hours or so to fully charge, so it helps to have a spare. My only complaint is that it puts up a lot of resistance when you try to pull it out of the Ring Stick Up Battery cam. I use a plier to pull it out of the unit.

Just what is needed.
