I don’t know if that’s something that can be adjusted or what but I do like being able to see if packages are out front before walking downstairs to look. It’s also saved us from having the pizza guy bang on the door really loud. Haha!

We live at an apartment building so we thought it would be a good idea to have this video doorbell to keep an eye on our place. I guess I’m going to have to pay monthly to be able to keep certain features like being able to keep video recordings. I mean for $130, I would’ve thought that would be something already included, but I didn’t know that until after purchase. You get 30 days free of video recordings & being able to share them. Also this door bell sometimes gets disconnected to the WiFi, so then you’re not able to get alerts & the live recordings lag a bit when your not on WiFi or if the WiFi doesn’t have good signal, which I see as a safety problem, Because what if it something happens & you’re not home, you’re trying to watch the live video on your phone but the video won’t load, so you’ve missed what was going on. For the price of this doorbell it would be great if these simple things were improved. Overall I would recommend to a friend. The idea & features of this doorbell is great, it just could use a little improvements. Also I have to get use to having neighbors because when you are setting up the “motion zone setting” it alerts me when they are outside, I’ve tried to make my zone smaller so it won’t alert me as much, but we don’t have much walking space to our apartment & they walk close to our side, so oh well.
