Please know that we are here to resolve these concerns with you today.
While the battery in your Ring Video Doorbell (2020 release) can go months between recharges with normal use, this is dependent on a number of factors in your home’s environment such as the local weather and the number of activities captured. At temperatures below 40°F, lithium-ion batteries are less effective at holding a charge. Since your Ring Doorbell (2020 release) is powered by a lithium-ion battery, if the temperature drops below 40°F, it may be necessary to charge your Ring product more often.
Lastly, the more events captured by your Ring Doorbell, the more your battery is used to power the 1080p HD video stream to your device. Even if you do not answer the call, video is still sent from your Ring product to the Ring servers.

Have it on my phone and also have my echo show connected to it. Glad I switched out my old doorbell. Chime is nice as well if you aren't near your phone.

Your Ring Video Doorbell and Ring Chime should be able to remain connected to your wifi reliably, as this ensures you achieve peace of mind. Please know we are here to help find a solution.
Although they are rare, disconnects can occur and can usually be traced back to nearby interference or underlying network issues. Both of which are easily resolved with a few changes.
A common solution to most network related problems is creating a guest network. You could then pair your Ring devices to the guest network to ensure the devices remains online.
Poor wifi reception can also lead to decreased battery life. This occurs as the device attempts to reconnect to your network repeatedly.

Even if someone is there they and talk to them through ring.
