Till we got the ring flood, Picture/video talk back and forth sounds great night vision would great all around the best

It’s got a pretty good picture and captures plenty of area. My wife loves activating the alarm on me and the kids, tells us to stay away from the her car.

Very broad view and I love the ability to pick up colors around light sources in night vision mode as well. Added additional batteries plus a solar panel for each to keep them fully charged.

Ring Battery Spotlight Camera

I bought this as a gift for someone and installed it yesterday. I am very impressed with the image and sound quality as well as the ease of installation. The spotlight camera seems to be very robustly built as well. I like it better than my own Arlo system so far.

I would have 100% satisfied if it used a SD card so I could record events. I don’t want to subscribe to a package. That’s extra spending.

Comes with one battery but can have two batteries for long term usage. Check out ring's website for additional mounting accessories (gutter or pole mount).

Easy to assemble and clear footage

I had to purchase another battery to hold both slots, hopefully the batter will last a little longer, otherwise, I'll have to purchase the solar panel. Camera has a good picture, very footage. Easy to assemble.

Having longevity in a battery-powered security device is crucial when it comes to monitoring your home, especially if you are away for long periods of time. We are here to provide you with some education to resolve the battery life issue you mentioned in your review.
It sounds like you are enjoying the features your Ring Spotlight Cam Plus has to offer, but the battery life is not what you expected. There are some troubleshooting steps that you can take to ensure that you have your device set up for optimal battery-life performance. The more events captured by your Ring devices, the more your battery is used. Using "Live View" can also drain your battery faster. If your device is capturing an excessive number of events each day, you may need to recharge your battery sooner.
To prevent excessive activity, under "Motion Settings" for your device in the Ring app, you can:
Adjust your "Motion Sensitivity" slider to a lower sensitivity.
Redraw your "Customizable Motion Zones."
Change "Motion Frequency" to regularly or periodically.
You could also adjust the direction of your Ring device so it doesn't detect as much motion.
You can go to "Power Settings" in the Ring app to see what features may be draining your battery.
To access "Power Settings," open the Ring app:
Tap the menu (≡) on the top left of the dashboard.
Tap "Devices."
Tap the individual device (video doorbell or security camera) you want to check.
Tap "Power Settings" to check your "Battery Level" percentage and "Feature Power Usage."
Tap a feature to adjust "Snapshot Capture," "Motion Frequency," and "Video Recording Length.".
