Bought this for the backyard and very pleased with the camera. Can see everything that is happening outside. Work well with Alexa. Also bought the solar charger with it.

What can I say I pick ring over any other systems . Easy to install and use. Great price on services and this camera inter grated with flood is perfect to protect your home

i first bought the door bell but when i saw how easy it was to use i want more and this camera still didn't need 110 volts it's even better! it works on solar. would recommend it.

I recommend get a solar panel. The units I have that are battery operated need to be charged frequently. With the solar panels, I have been able to monitor the camera for long periods and not need to worry about charging the batteries.

Clear picture even at night. I had trouble figuring out how to prevent the motion detector light from coming on every time we walked into a room but realized it was in the Motion Settings. Simply turning Lights off in the app did not work.

We have several other ring cameras and are very pleased with them. I got this one as it could be placed where I don’t have power to plug one in. I put it in my dog’s kennel to see how it would work. IT DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHOOSE YOUR MOTION AREA. I knew this when I got it. On the other cameras you can choose the alert zones by selecting areas on the screen. This unit only has preset distance and area ranges. It also is slower to load and the picture does not appear to be as clear as the wired units. It farther from the router than any other camera. I purchase the second battery so I didn’t have to charge them as often. It was in a location without sun. I don’t use the light function much but it has lasted about a month on one battery. It does get a few trips during the day and we drop in about every other day to live watch the dog. I would go wired if you have the option.

We bought these to secure our church property. We have one on every outside wall and it’s absolutely amazing quality! No longer am scared of the homeless. I know where they are 24/7!

Great security camera and the Ring software keeps getting better. It does take a while to access the motion videos when notified and takes about 7-10 seconds to go live when attempting to communicate with the person via the microphone.

The ring spotlight camera is great great wide view and simple to install I was worried that the light wouldn’t be as bright for the dogs when they go outside at night but boy was I wrong purchase for yourself and see

Purchased a ring Camera for my backyard was the greatest thing I could have ever purchased can see all movements in my backyard, light comes on with the slightest movement

Camera is very visible at night and captures movement without issue. Can support up to two batteries for extending usage. Had to purchase extender for it to reach to my wireless gateway. When setting up the extender, it was a bit of a hassle. If you can connect this camera and still see wireless gateway without extender, that would be even better!

This was easy to install and set up but a complete waste of money. Battery life is terrible. I had the light turned off and the motion off and it still only lasts 4-5 days. That is very annoying especially if you have installed it high up and it is not the easiest thing to take battery out to recharge. I did buy the solar panel because I didn't want to have to do that. I have the solar panel pointed directly at the sun and does work, but never enough to keep the camera from dieing. Supposed to work only using 2 hours of sun a day but even with a full day of sun my battery only charged about 3%.

I have 2 of these in my yard they work great love the batteries easy to change out

These cameras and the ring app are very amazing. The product itself is great. However the battery lasts about a week to a week and a half and then you have to get the ladder out, remove the battery and charge it for several hours. You can buy the solar panel for like $70-80 or another battery for $40 ish but after already paying so much for just these two camera, it’s a little disappointing that I have to charge so frequently or just spend more money. Also you can’t view any motion after the first 30 day trial and then you have to buy a monthly plan to see the footage even. Also, was hoping to avoid monthly fees but no such luck. They are cheap ($5-10) a month but still just another monthly charge I don’t like.

It is a great product that offers home security. The Best Buy installers did an amazing job and explained everything to me. I took out the service contract and it made installation simple at a great price.

Great camera just wish the battery lasted longer. They are designed to add a backup battery. They should just design them with a larger battery since they know it will drain in a week. Inspite of that, the Ring products are great.

PLACED ON THE GARAGE OF MY DRIVEWAY I CAN SEE FROM THE HOUSE ON MY LEFT DRIVEWAY TO THE DRIVEWAY OF THE HOUSE ON MY RIGHT. EXCELLENT

Great, easy to install, and work great. I wish the lights were a bit brighter but for working off a battery and not being hard wired I'd be hard pressed to expect more.

Purchased this for my son and daughter-in-law because they do not like answering the door without knowing who is on the other side. We helped them set it up, very simple setup and user friendly.

Cameras are finicky. They record when they feel like it. It will catch a cat walking by but won’t record the person walking up the driveway. The video quality is very good when it does record. Love that I can save the videos and send if needed. The “alarm” feature is not loud at all. The light is very bright and works great. If you need real security cameras I suggest going a different route. I o my got these to use at a home I was building. Since they are wireless they fit my needs at the time.
