It’s chimes all the time there’s motion and drains my battery. Only lasts like 4 days. I have to get a solar battery recharge. I would like for it just to detect people. Overall I’m happy with it

I purchased two of the Ring Spotlight cams battery operated. One cam quit working after a few month which was a little annoying. Ring customer service was awesome and sent a new one out within a week. Great company!

Great product by Ring. Very easy to install wireless product if you don't have existing power. Highly recommended if you're looking for a reliable addition to monitor the house.

I have 4 of this camaras in my house and they are really good quality for the price super easy to install and the batterie last long time without needing to be recharge.

I like the camera very clear and you have an option if battery or wired. The subscription to monitor your house much cheaper than other competitors. $10 a month or $100 a year.

does everything ring says it will. i linked it up with my ring doorbell camera and a few ring motion lights does a great job in showing anyting or alerting me or motion in my backyard very cool camera

There good camera during the day it’s got a great view and night time when Turing on lights gives a color view. The only downfall is that the sensors don’t always pick up movement and sometimes might do it to late. Most of the time it works.

When the neighbors dogs bark, I can check if someone is in back. When my door bell rings, I can see who's there before going to the door.

Just remember if your internet goes down it doesn't work but we loved it

This camera is great and pairs well eith all of my other ring devices. Be sure to buy an additional battery if you want frequent pictures and recording.

Needed a camera for the back yard. I loved my new ring camera as I can see everything that enters my back yard. Already have on front of garage.

Having wireless option is what I wanted. This product exceeded my expectations. Great coverage, very nice resolution. I ended up purchasing secon battery (it comes with only one). Connects seamlessly with Alexa. Recommended.

This camera is a basic motion security camera. It comes with only one battery (will take two) and can be powered by a Ring solar panel. It running off batteries, if there is a lot of movement, the batteries will die quickly. It is best to run two batteries or off a solar panel. You can also adjust settings with the app. Ring cameras do not work well with low Internet speeds (DSL). By the time you get the alert, open to view, the person is gone. Others probably are the same. The integration to the app is good and video service contracts are affordable (not required to function).

The ring cameras and doorbell have been reliable in terms of function and everyday use. This battery operated version does what it’s supposed to do: watch for suspicious activity on your property. I bought an extra battery pack and solar panel accessory to keep this camera running. It’s pricey like all other Security cameras, but it’s worth the investment. The subscription plan and ring app are very helpful since other ring users in the community can share and report suspicious activity in the neighborhood. All That being said, security cameras such as ring will only perform well, depending on how good your Wifi connection is. So make sure you have WiFi that’s good and able to reach this camera, depending where you place it. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase and plan on buying a couple more.

Good camera but the battery is only lasting around 10 days. Ring states that there was too much activity and that is why the battery doesn't last long. I now have to buy another battery so I can extend the time to maybe a month. Wish I'd gotten the wired camera.

We REALLY like the Ring Spolight Cam that is wire-free. Since we have the Ring Doorbell Pro that is wired, we weren't sure how well the wireless would be able to take pictures, video, etc. But, it's GREAT!!!!

This has been a great addition to our security system, allowing us to view the exterior of our home. We added the solar charger to ensure we didn’t have to remove and charge the batteries.
