Ring Cameras are a great investment. Videos are clear and, although there is around a 5 second delay… I am pleased with my purchase.

Before purchasing this camera, you may interest to know 1. There are different features offered between the wired vs wireless one (i.e. the motion zone). From my testing, there is no way to disable video recording even you lower all sensitivity and remove all zones. 2. Battery life varies in terms of how many alerts you have per day. The first full charge lasts about a month ( maybe I tested a lot at my early stage). Tune a bit seems can last longer than a month. My estimate is around two months then I need to recharge again. 3. The motion schedule is to specify a time not to have motion alert but cannot avoid the camera starts recording when motion occurs. At last, it drains your battery. 4. Motion sensitivity on the battery version is not good at all and do not expect too much. I ended up having lots of video recordings that jams the event history view. 5. Installation is not easy for me. I would like to install to a place that requires drilling. You need to hold your camera for a period of time before the motion sensor reset and start detecting. I hope Ring can add some features to help here just like the motion sensor (test mode). 6. Support is not professional. By the end of the conversation (may last 30 mins to a few hours), you will find yourself doing the following repeatedly (reinstall your mobile apps, remove and add your device back). Overall - It does record when motion occurs (after you install, and test them properly as you want and expected). But you don't dare to touch it as you will never know when the new setting applies which ends up no alert at all - no way to save battery ( this really a missing feature from Ring ) Hope you will find this helpful and good luck !

Installed this unit where my two A/C’s are located....plan on buying a Solar Panel to go with this unit. Then there will be no issue of changing the batteries. TGH

Great device. It lights up my back yard and driveway. I can see people and cars during the day and at night. And Feek Squad installed it professionally.

Love these cameras. Pickup easy. Easy to view, listen, talk to. Well worth the money I purchased on sale. I have 4 outside.

The Ring Battery Powered Spotlight Camera is a great addition to the house and provides excellent monitoring. The battery has stayed charged for 90 days and just now needs charging. Highly Recommended.

Great reliable security camera, be sure to buy extra batteries. each last about a month, and the device holds two, and auto switches over.

This a great for my backyard. The lightning at night could be better but paired with a floodlight it’s is the best thing ever. Install was easy as could be and it works as expected.

Great functional design; easy for a non-techy like me to setup. I did use an Electrician to mount the Ring Cam and the Solar Panel.

Fantastic unit! Works well. Sinks with the ring doorbell with ease. My only complaint (when there's not hard line on my house is ) Wish it came with flood lights like the hard wire ones do

Out of all the cameras I have installed, works the best. Rain or shine, and in the dark very clear and wonderful added bonus of the App makes it so easy even my mom can use it!

This two-pack along with two solar panels completed the view around our home from places that would have been difficult to power. The lights are very bright and the functionality is the same as our wired Ring cams and doorbell. Setup was easy, basically enter the WiFi password and name them. Both have been up and running without pause or issue for about three weeks. The view angle of 140 degrees provides a lot of coverage.

I have 4 of this cameras and 1 Ring spotlight wire cam they are great don’t have a problem with them the best is that you can hear and speak to people via the cam.

This is a decent camera. Can hold 2 batteries. Last about a week on one. Bought the solar panel and it will charge it a little bit depends on how active the camera is. $30 a year to store video.
