But battery doesnt last as long. There is extra compartment though to keep 2nd battery in. Which is great. But for me, I'd rather go hardwire

The lights are very bright and the functionality is the same as our wired Ring cams and doorbell. Setup was easy, basically enter the WiFi password and name them. Both have been up and running without pause or issue for about three weeks. The view angle of 140 degrees provides a lot of coverage.

Had to replace

With the one battery that it came with, the product died often. We purchased another battery but at the time we tried to install the 2nd battery, the product stopped working overall and we had to get it replaced. We have no clue as to why it stopped working but when it did work, it kept track of all activity outside our home and the spotlight came on whenever there was motion.

So far so good and it works well. Bummer we couldn’t get a black one though!
