It works 95% of the time as intended I would say. The Ring app can mess up sometimes and won’t show you the live stream or anything without being reset at times. We have very fast internet and a router right above where the camera is installed so that shouldn’t be the issue. This camera is pretty much worthless if you don’t plan on paying the monthly or yearly subscription for ring protect, please be aware of that. They have plans are cheap as $3 per month tho.

Couldn’t get lights to stay off during the time when a rule was setup. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn’t work

With the one battery that it came with, the product died often. We purchased another battery but at the time we tried to install the 2nd battery, the product stopped working overall and we had to get it replaced. We have no clue as to why it stopped working but when it did work, it kept track of all activity outside our home and the spotlight came on whenever there was motion.

But battery doesnt last as long. There is extra compartment though to keep 2nd battery in. Which is great. But for me, I'd rather go hardwire

So far so good and it works well. Bummer we couldn’t get a black one though!

Gave it a month and loved everything about it. Didn’t even bother trying the competitions units. Having the ability to put this camera anywhere as long as you have a strong enough internet signal is amazing. The 1 battery lasted about 5-6 weeks on the first one I bought, but it’s the camera that’s going to have the most detections daily. 25-50 alerts a day at least. I believe a single battery could last every bit of 2 months in a low trafficked area.
