There are only 2 things that have disappointed me so far: 1. The motion zone settings are not like my other 2 Ring cameras where you can custom adjust the zone to any size or shape you want. This camera only lets you adjust the size defaults. 2. When I receive an alert for motion I cannot see the video right away. It takes a minute or so to download. Not great if there is an active issue going on. This is the case with other Ring cameras on occasion too.

I did return them because if you have all features enabled and all triggers on, it does kill the battery. It holds 2 batteries but only comes with 1 for each camera. Quality was ok. Motion sensor was pretty good. If you don't mind charging them often then this is for you. Also, anyone can remove there battery, as it does not require a special tool to open the battery latch.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble keeping your Ring Spotlight Camera battery charged. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. You are pretty much stuck with the settings this comes with. I wish you could change the lights brightness and the amount of time the light stays on, both can be customized on the wired version. I have the solar panel set up but haven't seen the sun since I installed it, so not sure how that works yet. Overall this is a great camera considering that it's wireless but if you have the ability to get the wired version buy that.
