overall it does a pretty good job. I do feel more secure with them there, but there have been a few times when the camera glitched and during one of those moments someone stole a package out of my yard.

We purchased the Ring Spotlight 2 pack to replace the older Arlo system we had but weren’t pleased with. It was great to be able to buy them in a multipack! The system was fast and easy to set up on the app and they were installed in a reasonably short time. We love the feature of the light coming on when motion is detected. It picks up motion instantly and the notification is received in less than 3 seconds, a huge improvement over our experience with Arlo. There are many features to the app and you can make adjustments to most every feature of the cameras. We are definitely pleased with our purchase and plan to add more Ring products.

So far, so good. The picture quality is great.... triggers when people come and go from my garage or rear yard. Love the way it lights up the yard at night

Overall I like the cameras. I have had a problem with one and it has been replaced three times along with the batteries. Covered under warranty and my total tech subscription.

Great camera and light! Super easy to set up. Picture quality seems better than my doorbell. Lights are pretty bright and light up my whole driveway. Love it!

Simple to install and sync to the Ring Door in the app. Battery life is about 2 weeks (dual batteries). Re-charge of the battery takes a couple of hours. Batteries are easy to access and remove then re-install

Great to have a camera. It enabled us to find out what was happening to our garden. Animals in middle of night consuming our plants we then made it rodent proof.

Purchased these for 2 different locations to keep an eye out for people taking objects from our house and our neighbors. Had the Geek Squad put them up along with Wesserstein solar panels.

Extremely simple to set up...quality is outstanding. Moved houses, easy pack up and setup at new house. My battery holds charge for about 3 months...takes a few hours to charge. The cameras can hold 2 batteries... The Ring app is fantastic and includes a neighborhood forum for sharing any questionable events your camera has caught. The video recording is very good...I don’t think you can get a license plate number from 20 feet away recorded...nice quality tho. The lights may be cut on/off...very bright. Simple, quality, and affordable...$90 year for cloud recording, up to TEN units covered at that price I believe....

Easy to setup and install. Quality is always good. Batteries are the biggest drawback here. Its hitnor miss if they actually last the posted lifespan before charges. Gonwired if you can.

Works pretty well. Been using for a while now without any issues. Pretty clear picture.

I was surprised how much light these give off at night. I didn't expect much for the size and price. I was wrong. Also, something that I didn't realize, they have two battery slots unlike the other outdoor stick up cams. They do use more battery because of the light and some of the more advanced HDR and IR features so keep that in mind. I recommend buying an extra battery for each up front if you are buying these. It's needed honestly. But overall a great little camera.

In my opinion the ring outdoor camera light combo works great. They complement the whole ring system. I use them for surveillance purposes they work great I went ahead and bought the unlimited device subscription and I plan on purchasing one more ring device I would recommend them to anyone over the other Wi-Fi cameras that are available

We bought this to add to our other ring cameras and we really like it. It gives a good view of the area we have it. We put it high on a pole and made sure that it would pick up motion and it doesnt dissapoint. They also give you the option when one camera goes off the others turn on and start recording which I really like. It was very easy to set up and install. We got an extra battery and this only comes with one but gives the option for 2. We also got the solar panel to go with it since the area we put it up in isnt easy to take down.

I have had this camera up for about 5 weeks now. It works very well. Set up was quick and installation was easy (package included drill bit for setting anchors, all screws, and a screw driver). Motion detection is good and picture/audio are both clear. We had a cold spell where temperatures outside got down into the negatives. As advertised on the product page, the camera doesn’t work in extreme cold (we got down into the negative teens). As soon as it warmed back up the camera came back online with no issues. This camera has room for two batteries, so I advise anyone to buy an extra.

I bought this camera so that my husband could install it in our attic to try and catch a varmint who would come in at night. Excellent camera.

I have been using them for about 5 days and they have failed horribly. Motion sensors do not work consistently. I have walked in front of the Spotlight Cams multiple times only to get it to activate, record video and send alert maybe 5 times out of 20. Made no difference adjusting the Motion Zone or Distance. When it does record video, I've noticed the first 5 to 10 seconds are pixelated until it clears up to produce a very sharp image. The Spotlight Cams lose Wi-Fi connection randomly. The app, under Device Health always show my connection as Good or Excellent. The Live View feature fails most of the time leaving you with a black screen with a constant rolling icon or it tells you your phone can't connect to the Ring. The Andriod app is Horrible and full of bugs. I'm Using a new Samsung Note 8 and the app has crashed, froze becoming unresponsive, failed to save selected Motion Zones and Distance. Just read the recent bad reviews for yourself on the google play store. It says it all. The batteries also don't last 6 months. Mine went from 100% when installed to 23% in 5 days. I could understand the batteries draining faster if Cams were working overtime being triggered and recording video often, but they are not. I would not recommend the battery operated Spotlight Cams in their current state. They fail miserably. These will be going back to BestBuy for a refund.

I bought the Ring Spotlight Cam Wire-free for surveillance because of the crime rate going up in my neighborhood. Although it's not a home security system, it brings peace of mind that it's watching @1080 resolution 24/7 (with notifications). Anyway, the install is easy, with clear instructions and the wi-fi connection is simple. It comes with one rechargeable battery with the option of a solar hook-up. I do however recommend puchasing a backup battery (dual slots available in camera) and use the settings to extend the battery life if you want. Highly recommend.
