I charged the battery and it works. I do not know how long the battery will last, but I think it is worth it to get the camera in the location I wanted.

It works ok. The light is not very bright and drains battery quickly when you make recordings more frequent and slightly longer than recommended settings. If you are able to wire I would recommend buying the floodlight.
