Easy to install and set up. All you have to do is follow the step by step directions. Allows me to look at my property whenever I want and gives me notifications and alerts me of someone or something in a particular zone .( you can adjust to set your needs). I love them and I own 6 of the camera and two of the door bell type. I did invest in 4 solar chargers so I would not have to keep charging batteries. You will have to purchase a monitoring fee if you want to record events. I think it is about 100 dollars a year for unlimited devices. ( cheap enough)

We purchased the Ring Spotlight Cam Wire-free with solar panel along with the Ring Video Doorbell 3. We were a little late to the Ring game compared to our neighbors, but it has been worth. We love the peace of mind that comes with the immediate alerts and the ability to do a live view whenever we want. We can even talk through the cam - it's loud and clear! And the spotlight is bright and turns on immediately when someone pulls into range at night. It has definitely been worth the purchase, along with the solar panel and the doorbell.

The Ring Spotlight Cam is a really good product. The only issue I had with it is that the battery expectations were way less then advertised. My battery is running out every 5-7 days very less than the 1-3 month estimates provided when I bought it. So, I ended up buying a solar panel today for the camera so I don't have to keep climbing up on the ladder and changing my battery. The video is crisp and the notifications are consistent. I did hire a Geek Squad technician to complete the installation and it was quick, well done, and he answered all my questions. Great product and great support, i would recommend it buy buy the solar panel for it.

These cameras are working like a charm. They put me at ease when I am not home I can see my Front and back of my house.

These cameras are the perfect way to keep an eye on what is going on when you are not at home. Very easy to set up. Just follow the directions and be patient. Indoors or out these cams capture things you may not be aware of around your home. This camera caught a service tech who claimed to have inspected my outside air conditioniner when he actually only walked past it on his way to my front door. So much for that expert analysis of why I needed a new unit. That one capture alone saved me thousands of dollars. That same can also caught a stalker on my property. I bought the 2 pack and use the second camera inside to keep an eye on my dog when I am not home. Can’t say enough good things about this product.

Systems works great, very user friendly and provides the level of security my family and I wanted. The Best Buy Total Tech in home consultation was somewhat a hit and miss since this individual doesn't do the install and may not have clearly understood what was needed for a wired install. The Best Buy third party installer, totally understood what we wanted to do and even recommended using existing pre-wiring. The team of two did an excellent job with installation and set-up.

Very nice addition to my Ring Door bell camera. Would recommend buying the secondary battery for longer run time before having to recharge.

Batteries take forever charge so be ready. Spare one highly recommended. Easy to screw into side of house and set up. Video quality is good and light is pretty bright

It was really easy to set up and can hold 2 battery packs. I use a solar panel to power mine and it works great so far. Very customizable in the Ring app withcool features

A battery power camera with lights is a great idea in concept but needs work. The recording time is limited to 30 second compared to 1 minute for the wired spotlight cam. It is difficult to catch anyone "in the act" within such a sort period of time or sufficient evidence. Arlo Pro camera provides up to 2 minutes of recording and you do NOT have to buy a subscription but lacking lights for now. Moreover, the motion setting is very limited in customization compared to the wired spotlight cam so you will have a lot of unnecessary motion alerts. Once these issues are resolved, I would give it 5 stars and purchase more of them.

Quick, Simple installation and setup! Great cameras and super good views. Motion detection and motion alert … it has it all!!

We purchased a door bell camera and two spotlight cameras. The doorbell camera has a good video quality and the coverage is good. In short, it functions as expected. One of the spotlight cameras is mounted to cover the drive with a field of view at zero degrees. This operates as expected; the video quality is very good and coverage is very good. Both of these cameras give notice of motion immediately. And the history on both cameras can be accessed without issue. The second spotlight camera does not operate as expected. It doesn’t give notice of movement and its history is not readily accessible.

I purchased the cam spotlight battery powered for the side of my house. The camera is great it shows a very wide angle. The light is pretty good but I think a flood light would have been better. I like the fact that you can put in your own range of motion . I have a big dog and this camera can differentiate between a person and a dog. Also purchase the extra rechargeable battery pack that goes in it so the camera can switch from one to the other. I don't have much motion on the side of my house so I think the battery pack will do me good.

Bought this with other Ring cameras and they all work great. Lights are bright and ugh vision is great, probably better than with the lights on. motion detection is preset and you cannot set custom zones on this version, I think because it is battery operated and not the plug in. Regardless, it senses motion just fine and you can turn off certain preset zones. I plan to get the solar adapter since I use it a lot and drains the battery. I have had it for about a month and need to recharge it. I have everything enabled so it is expected. Product is great and easy to install.

Great camera for the price I paid. Unfortunately this model is on its way out and it’s being replaced by another with color both day and night . Overall, still a great camera

Love this product. Easy to install. Provides enhanced security. Only downsides: Short battery life. Buy the second backup battery pack. Strong Wind or storms will trigger motion sensor.

Purchased 3 of the Ring Spotlight cameras to put up at my mother-in-law's house. Installation and set up was very easy and straight forward. The cameras have been up and running for about a month and the battery life of each ranges from around 80% at the back door where nobody ever goes, to around 45% at the garage/driveway that sees a lot of company. Also, the WIFI signal is weak (but functional) on the camera that is furthest away, which is probably around 40'. Could very well be the router she is using though. Overall, the cameras do a great job and add that little bit of comfort for her.

Clear video and the floor light feature helps out video taking at night. Easy installation and app is user friendly.
