However, these cameras do not work well without excellent WiFi. These cameras should have their own WiFi extenders to rectify this issue.

Batt life is 1 week.should have made wired one that can go thru a small hole going inside the house.chances of people taking it out of the plug is high

Background noise

The box even states it has noise cancellation, but it seems as though it doesn't at all. I also wish I could have a loop recording option.

First and foremost, we thank you for your business and the opportunity in serving your home security needs. The Ring Spotlight Cam Wire-free is designed to connect you to 1080p HD video with
crisp two-way audio. We understand how important the audio feature is, as this allows you to speak with your visitors.
Poor audio quality can sometimes be caused by a wifi issue. We recommend running a distance test in order to discover what audio quality you are receiving at your router, compared to how it performs when mounted. For the best results, please do the following:
1. Remove your Ring Camera from its mounting and bring it into the same room as your wifi router.
2. Be sure you've turned off your cellular data and connected to the same 2.4GHz wifi network as your Ring device.
3. Open your Ring app on your smart-phone or tablet.
4. Trigger a motion event on your Ring Camera.
5. Examine the resulting audio in a recorded video.
If you find that the audio is crisp and clear, then we recommend improving the wifi signal to your Ring camera by connecting it to a wifi extender, such as the Ring Chime Pro. However, if you find that the audio is still of poor quality, then you will want to address possible issues with your wifi network.

I also added a second battery to give the camera an extended life. So far it’s been in use for 30 days and used 50% of one battery, should get an additional 90 days at that rate. I’m not using the led lights at night to conserve battery’s. Relying on infrared night mode. Reasonable resolution especially in daylight but could be improved to 4K.
