It didn't really work for me though on the first couple of the night. The frost from the cold weather which is not that cold cuz I live in Houston, affected the quality of video. I got a Logitech circle 2 on sale and it's been working perfectly and no paid subscription is required.

Only comes with one battery per camera but they hold 2 each. Returned product just wasn’t what I was looking for. Great if you don’t want to run wires. Maybe living in a rental. Also you have to pay a monthly fee for you to record anything

While batteries in Ring devices can go months between recharges with normal use, this is dependent on a number of factors in your home's environment, such as the local weather and the number of activities captured. The more events captured by your Ring camera, the more your battery is used to power the live HD video stream to your device.
