I needed a light in an area of my house that did not have a floodlight or outside light wiring. While looking at solar powered lights, I came across this spotlight camera. After reading many reviews of solar poweres lights that said most if not all are not durable. I read the reviews of this spotlight camera. The spotlight camera plus the cost of the solar panel was not much more than a decent solar powered light. I took the gamble and ordered this. Install was super easy, ring includes everything needed for install. They even include the masonry bit to drill into brick! Amazing, that alone saves me $$$. My wife feels secure with a motion light, but she's even more safe with the live video. Ring you made a customer that will be buying more products. Im already looking to order three Floodlight cameras

Great picture, night or day. It is frustrating because I bought the extra battery so I wouldn't have to charge them so often. A second battery is optional. I was told with 2 it would probably be close to a year before they would need to be recharged. It is much closer to two months.

These are easy to use easy to set up the images are clear and crisp HD quality, day and night, i have three one of them i use at night without the light as i dont want to have it easily recognized it gives me clear images of the surroundings but not people

We now have 3 of these Ring cameras and absolutely love them. Someone stole from out front yard and looked directly at the camera when the spotlight turned on. It was nice to give the video to law enforcement. The solar charger is separate but necessary to keep the batteries charged. Highly recommend!

I'm really pleased with my purchase of these spotlight cameras. I'm able to set them to monitor specific areas. Clear vision and spotlight lights up during motion. I would recommend them for effective security monitoring.

As long as you purchase a additional battery because it only comes with one. Your gonna need 2 batteries that are easy to recharge. Then forget it ! Easy to install bright spotlight and great speaker to where you can talk to your guest while on the app

I have the wired version of this camera and noticed that with this battery model you can only set up motion zones on the bottom 2/3 of the viewing area. This limits placement and angle possibilities for mounting. It causes us to miss motion events that would have been captured had we used the wired model.

Suggest you charge it overnight before installing. This was not in instructions so It worked fine for a few days then battery ran low. Added the device to an existing Ring network. It is triggered by motion and or sound. I’m very happy with activity it captures.

Love the camera's, only thing from 5 stars are the battery doors are a pain to get closed sometimes. Picture quality is great day or night. Spotlight and alarm is handy to be able to turn on remotely. Would definitely recommend. Also, would recommend installing a second battery.

Have home security system, basically alarms will go off but only if someone enters house, but wanted cameras to view what's going on before that would happen. Love it! I can talk thru cameras to my UPS man or mailman to place packages where I want them when they arrive. Very happy with this easy setup

This is a great camera, it is clear, has night vision and captures everything. It was picking up the ally cats that walked thru my driveway but I adjusted the motion sensor and works great. I do feel much safer now that I have the ring camera in place.

The video is amazing, very clear and I like the option of adjusting to the area I want to see. The salesman was excellent and gave an in-depth description of the product. He did say the battery would last about 6 weeks. The battery actually only lasted about 2 weeks so I’m glad I purchased a 2nd one. It’s lasting about 2 weeks, too, even though I adjusted the settings when putting together to consume less battery life. Also putting the battery in was very difficult because you can’t put it in until the camera is installed. You have to really force it in until it pops in place and being on a 6’ latter you don’t have much leverage or capacity in strength when pushing it in. Overall I like the product and I hope my review will be passed along to the Ring team so they can look at improving battery life. Thank you for the opportunity to give a review. Regards, Stefanie

Easy to install and setup. The single and dual camera(s) were the same prices as other online sellers but BB was more convenient. BB didn't have the white case cams in stock at the time of purchase so I settled on the black case that's why only 4 stars.

Quick and easy to install. Works great. They spotlight feature is very good. I did have to purchase a Ring Chime to extend my WIFI signal which makes it work perfectly. I had to call customer service with a question. They answered on the first ring and were polite and had an immediate answer.

Clear view of entire area and makes the house far more secure. It provides peace of mind to get alerts whenever someone steps onto the property. Highly recommend Ring products!

Easy to install and set-up. The picture quality is excellent and the motion activated spotlight is really bright. Also, the rechargeable battery is easy to access. Just an excellent option for your security needs.

Great camera. Very wide angle and is actually deceiving. It will capture more than it actually looks like it would. You have to pay to review the cloud storage but its reasonably priced. I opted for a wired version to avoid connectivity issues.
