Outside camera quality is excellent. The light that is attached to the camera is very bright! Which makes it obvious to any person passing by that you’re house camera is active.

I wanted a security camera I could easily install myself and would not require connection to electricity. After research at home and talking to a very knowledgeable Best Buy associate, I settled on this one. We have had our Ring Doorbell for over one year and have been happy with how easy it was to set up and how well the app works on our phone. This Spotlight Cam was equally easy. We had a little trouble setting up the app to connect to the Spotlight Cam and had to call Ring but they were very helpful walking through trouble shooting. The light is very bright. You can easily identify anyone who triggers the camera in the dark. It comes with one battery but you can buy an additional battery (Spotlight Cam has space for 2 batteries) if you don't want to charge as often. On one battery our Cam ran for three weeks.

Very easy install process and camera quality is very good. I highly recommend using 2 batteries and also go with the solar option if you can. One battery is not enough and you will be constantly charging it often.

This camera has worked flawlessly. The images are very clear, and it covers the entire length and width of a long wide driveway. We are in Florida so it can endure plenty of soaking rain with no problem.

Best outdoor camera for our needs. Once set up, it was easy to use. Provided excellent sharpness under all conditions including night. Also, very sensitive to outdoor motions. Suggest using the solar panel to save on battery use.

This camera was perfect for me, as I didn’t want to run any electrical outside of my house. Just mounted it, and done. Has a rechargeable battery. Great quality video, audio and bright spotlight. It’s a little pricey at $169.99 but well worth it!

It’s good camera, just don’t like batteries! I did retured and Wand change a wired one!

I have three of these cameras and they generally work very well, providing peace of mind. Once in a wild there might be a delay or a glitch usually due to Wi-Fi connectivity. I like being able to turn the lights on and the alarm if appropriate.

Battery life good depending on the settings you set. Recommend getting and extra battery to put in to extend the life. Also getting the solar panel for.

This is the second ring product we have owned and are very happy with both. We installed this ourselves and it was very user-friendly. Instructions, included hardware and tools, and YouTube video provided all that was needed. A full size Phillips screwdriver made the process a bit easier because we were installing the camera in a tight corner, but otherwise installation time really just depended on us deciding where exactly we wanted to place the ring camera, angling the camera to our preference, and the minutes to add the screws. We also opted for the additional ring solar panel purchase to avoid having to change batteries too often, which was also simple to install and connect. We are pleased with the added security to our home at a reasonable price and free DIY installation.

Outstanding Products. We enjoy the added security. The spotlight within 15 feet and the ability to record and share the recorded videos add to our happiness with the cameras.

I bought this when I lived in a slight less than great part of town. This gave me tremendous peace of mind. Great quality video, great app (that links with other ring users in the area) and very easy to mount/set up.

We have about 20 of these. Some are hardwired, some using solar, some with the spotlights that are utilized indoors and out. Field of view and picture quality are decent. Movement and IR sensors work well when time is taken to properly set up the settings. Good pricing ($100/year) for service. Our biggest complaint is that these cameras tend to show all purple or green output at times (equally outside or inside). The software/app also could use some improvement with searching capabilities. The lens also fog up very easily, especially in the mornings. We have tried a number of sprays, etc. but are yet to find a lasting solution. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Added to my doorbell camera and have a great view of my entire front yard. The picture is high-quality day and night. I love the lights automatically coming on with motion. Ring is a great value.

We already have the ring doorbell and the setup was extremely easy for this product. The installation was a breeze and the camera great picture quality. Perfect for those looking to add a little security.

Adding this to our home system has been great! We just needed one more. We have used these for years and they continue to impress. Plus when we have had issues with a camera, the Ring customer service has been great to work with.

These cameras are awesome. They are easy to setup and use they are very sensitive so they pick up any type of movement around them and notify us via the app when motion is detected

Definitely a good purchase overall. Video and audio are clear. It's easy for the person in front of the cam to hear me and vice versa. Siren works well and the lights are in tune with motion, or can be manually turned on/off. However, I do experience a lot of streaming issues for live view with this cam, compared to my stick up cam (which is 4x the distance away from the router as this one). Not sure what causes it since it's literally right next to the router, updated and full battery, but either it's super annoying. -2 stars for this reason

The Ring battery cameras were not only simple and quick to install, they are reliable and show clear videos. The siren is very loud and the speaker provides a clear and intereference free sound. Will definitely buy additional cameras and Ring products.

This camera integrates well with the Ring alarm system. The picture is great. I do recommend installing 2 batteries and having 2 charged spares on hand. This camera is in a moderately busy area so it activates often. The batteries take about 8 hours to charge.
