I purchased this after several of my neighbors had experienced vehicle break-ins. It allowed me to catch someone driving our neighborhood and raiding mailboxes looking for checks and deliveries. He denied his activity, and I was able to provide evidence to police of him opening and removing items from my mailbox as well as my neighbors across the street. Caught with undeniable evidence. He also had previous charges for home burglaries.

Wireless camera has great picture quality, however the battery drains fast. I purchased the solar panel and it does not charge the battery for the full 24 hours. The camera works with the solar panel only in the day time when the sun is up. I would definitely recommend to purchase camera that is not wireless.

Love the picture, but battery life does not last as long because of the night light that comes on.

Great investment. Only downside is having to purchase individual subscriptions per camera which gets costly.

Easily mounted. We already have Ring door chimes so there was no problem in linking them to our network. My only problem so far had been setting the range for those we mounted outside to react to motion close to the house, such as visitors, delivery men and animals, but not react to cars traveling down the street. Batteries have been lasting two months before needing re-charged.

We love these cams. Easy to put up, set up on our cell phones and home wifi. We use two batteries just because but only one is needed. The solar panel is easy to connect also. This is our second solar can and we plan on buying two more. The only extra item that we bought were wire guards or tacks that we attached to the under boxing of our house to help keep the solar panel wire in place or from hanging down.

Ordered online and picked up curbside because of Corona. Great service by the store! Camera and light worked great but siren and speaker did not work. Called Ring support, long story short they said it was defective and sent me another five days later. I was still able to use the camera until then. Rings support is A1 and always great. I ordered a black camera from Best Buy and Ring sent me a white one. Oh well! Overall very satisfied with the store, product and Rings support

We love our ring cameras. Our only issue is the video quality when you zoom in on anything. It's actually really bad.

Easy to mount, app notifies when battery needs to be charged, excellent coverage, and has a manual alarm.

Using for back driveway security. I like extra battery capacity for longer times between battery charged.

These are fantastic! I read some reviews where people complained that the lights aren’t bright enough... I disagree with that! I think they’re just fine for their purpose! No, the image isn’t 4K quality, but frankly, I’m not trying to enjoy a feature length movie ... these Ring spotlight security cameras are great for the money! I bought more! If you need lots of light, then check out the floodlights!

Easy setup. Very good picture/video quality. Night time video is very good because of the LED light.

The quality of picture is very good. These cameras pick up motion almost too good. No issues with system to date.

Camera works well, great picture quality. The only negatives i have is that you are limited to only 30 seconds of video capture when triggered by motion. It would be really nice if you could set that time to what you choose. Battery life has been pretty good. I have 4 of the cameras and I purchased 2 extra batteries. I monitor the battery life through the app and when one gets down to 30 - 40% i swap it out with one of the spare batteries. The camera's also will hold 2 batteries if you want longer life and are willing to purchase an extra battery.

Very easy to install. Up and running in 15 minutes. Great pictures and video, even at night.

Everyone needs to have a ring spotlight cam the picture quality is fantastic and it’s very easy to install.

These are not nearly as good as the floodlight cam, so if you debating, get that. I have both. The spotlight cam still takes excellent quality video and with the addition of zones, it has improved the usefulness. The warning: if you cannot choose your wifi speed (2.4 or 5Mb) you will most likely also need a Ring Chime Pro. This is not an issue with the wired Ring cameras, just the battery versions. Also for some reason, it molds on the top of the camera.
