This has been a great addition to our security system, allowing us to view the exterior of our home. We added the solar charger to ensure we didn’t have to remove and charge the batteries.

This camera is a basic motion security camera. It comes with only one battery (will take two) and can be powered by a Ring solar panel. It running off batteries, if there is a lot of movement, the batteries will die quickly. It is best to run two batteries or off a solar panel. You can also adjust settings with the app. Ring cameras do not work well with low Internet speeds (DSL). By the time you get the alert, open to view, the person is gone. Others probably are the same. The integration to the app is good and video service contracts are affordable (not required to function).

I am highly dissatisfied with my Best Buy Total Membership Plan. I returned multiple devices for my Ring surveillance that I had purchased for my home and families safety and protection. The devices were defected and non functional. I had to have Geek Squad come to my residence multiple times to uninstall and reinstall new Ring surveillance cameras for my residence which was a head ache alone in itself. I also, had negative phone interactions and negative in person encounterments with Best Buy Associates. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the services and products purchased at Best Buy. Now I am stuck with products that do no work with no coverage that Best Buy was unwilling to provide a solution to the problem for the entire inconvenience caused to me and my family.

Christmas gift too early to tell. I hope it as good as the doorbell

I've been using ring products for the last couple years and have been very satisfied with the quality and pricing I purchased these as an add on. The picture quality is excellent and the batteries last longer and are so easy to change

The camera provides a clear view of my property. I like how it notifies me through the ring app when someone is at my house. I like to be able to speak to the person through the app without having to answer the door.

Amazing! I love these!!!!!!!!!!! The battery life kind of is horrible, but I don’t mind charging the battery. Buy a back up battery!

I bought this Ring Spotlight Cam to replace one that that stopped working. It arrived on time and was in perfect condition. I have added security knowing that Ring is monitoring my home.

Got it and put it on my shed and before my dog goes out I say Alexa turn on backyard spotlight and it goes on and it is also goes on with motion. We have a raccoon lurking around so want to make sure dog is safe.

If it had not been for the Geek Squad, these cameras may have been pretty good. The first installer actually mounted a solar panel right in the middle of my roof. Yes, that's right.I won't bother with the rest of the installed items. Practically zero training. The first installer for my smart thermostat came without the thermostat and asked me for it. I told him he was supposed to have it. He informed me was not delivery boy and left. The next installed never showed up. I called and he had called in sick. The second installer for the camera system did a good job but the monitor quit talking the moment he left. Returning it tonight.

This camera is great and pairs well eith all of my other ring devices. Be sure to buy an additional battery if you want frequent pictures and recording.

Works like a charm- great pix & sound so far…until something better comes out it fits the need…wish the battery door was a little more secure…but so far it stays closed…

Love the convenience of wire free, bought solar panel so that wouldn’t have to be recharging the battery and I am stuck charging the batteries more than the solar panel itself.

We are replacing a camera that is only two years old---it seems Alaska winters may be too cold for this, placed where there isn't much sunshine for several months. Willing to try it again.

All in all these are pretty great little cameras. Whether daylight, dusk or night time, they truly capture a really clear picture. Our issue is that motion alerts and motion light responses seem to trigger quicker when it’s a vehicle versus a person. I have heard that the equipment uses a heat or thermal tracking source, therefore it’s quick to be set off with a large heated vehicle but less so with a person. And in spite of all of our upgraded equipment, Netgear, extenders, we still can’t get the live feed to come up very quickly. After the fact, the video is easy to view, but sometimes I’d like to see what’s going on in the moment.

I paid more for an Arlo system and they were nothing but trouble. I have had great luck with the Ring security system so I decided to try their cameras. Great quality and super easy setup.

When the neighbors dogs bark, I can check if someone is in back. When my door bell rings, I can see who's there before going to the door.

I bought these to add to our collection of Ring devices. So far we have only got one hung up. Easy installation. It appears that they hold 2 batteries but only come with 1.

Needed a camera for the back yard. I loved my new ring camera as I can see everything that enters my back yard. Already have on front of garage.

I had the Arlo Pro 3 and this camera has far better picture quality plus more angle review. Added bonus is there is no monthly fee or additional box to put with the cable, Wi-Fi, etc...
