Amazing spotlight! It has an alarm feature. I purchased the solar panel as well. Videos are very clear and you can hear anything quite well.

Before purchasing this camera, you may interest to know 1. There are different features offered between the wired vs wireless one (i.e. the motion zone). From my testing, there is no way to disable video recording even you lower all sensitivity and remove all zones. 2. Battery life varies in terms of how many alerts you have per day. The first full charge lasts about a month ( maybe I tested a lot at my early stage). Tune a bit seems can last longer than a month. My estimate is around two months then I need to recharge again. 3. The motion schedule is to specify a time not to have motion alert but cannot avoid the camera starts recording when motion occurs. At last, it drains your battery. 4. Motion sensitivity on the battery version is not good at all and do not expect too much. I ended up having lots of video recordings that jams the event history view. 5. Installation is not easy for me. I would like to install to a place that requires drilling. You need to hold your camera for a period of time before the motion sensor reset and start detecting. I hope Ring can add some features to help here just like the motion sensor (test mode). 6. Support is not professional. By the end of the conversation (may last 30 mins to a few hours), you will find yourself doing the following repeatedly (reinstall your mobile apps, remove and add your device back). Overall - It does record when motion occurs (after you install, and test them properly as you want and expected). But you don't dare to touch it as you will never know when the new setting applies which ends up no alert at all - no way to save battery ( this really a missing feature from Ring ) Hope you will find this helpful and good luck !

I love the ring spot cam, it's so much better than the one I ordered from Amazon, and it works on the same wifi as my ring doorbell, so far so good!

Works great! Actually my second one bought for the outside. Picture quality is clear, gives me a peace of mind when I travel that my home is protected.

I like the reliability of the Ring so far along with the video recording. It gives me great comfort getting motion alerts. I have already been able to "catch" some things I otherwise would not have been able to.

Installed this unit where my two A/C’s are located....plan on buying a Solar Panel to go with this unit. Then there will be no issue of changing the batteries. TGH

Out of all the cameras I have installed, works the best. Rain or shine, and in the dark very clear and wonderful added bonus of the App makes it so easy even my mom can use it!

Easy to install, and it does everything I wanted it to do. Also batteries last much longer than I thought. Ring system is excellent.

Overall, we are extremely happy with this product. The camera quality is great and the motion light is super bright. We plan on ordering more in the future.

Great product that needs one improvement and that’s the batteries. This has a compartment for dual batteries and it should come with 2 for the price.

Fantastic unit! Works well. Sinks with the ring doorbell with ease. My only complaint (when there's not hard line on my house is ) Wish it came with flood lights like the hard wire ones do

The Ring camera was slick in the packaging, clear instructions for a quick and simple installation. The product has worked perfectly since installed. No complaints.

This is a decent camera. Can hold 2 batteries. Last about a week on one. Bought the solar panel and it will charge it a little bit depends on how active the camera is. $30 a year to store video.

Batteries do not last long. Always charging them a big pain. These where easy to install. The night videos are not the best.

Great device. It lights up my back yard and driveway. I can see people and cars during the day and at night. And Feek Squad installed it professionally.

We absolutely love our Ring security system, the pictures are clear and in a world where theft is the norm, it is nice to know I can capture the culprit to submit to police!!

Ring includes everything you need to install their products. They have online videos for all their products. It was a breeze to install and use. Recommend Solar attachment.

Horrible. Battery drains fast on minimal settings. Solar power doesn’t charge fast batteries enough and when it snows, the lens gets covered in ice and snow. When battery drains it disconnects from Wi-Fi so I have to drive half hour to keep resetting the Wi-Fi connection. So not recommend.

I have the RING doorbell and 3 RING CAM. They are outstanding. I am triggered and can view what is happening outside and inside my home. This is the way to go.
