    Nice Camera

I’d been wanting a security camera for some time and this really fit the bill. It is easy to use, has great coverage, though you need to spend some time to adjust it to fine tune it to your needs, which is quite simple. Install is also very easy. My only slight, is the ball joint where it connects to the the mount could have a better joint and better screw to secure and adjust it. Otherwise I love this camera. Even though the battery is easy to remove to change; you absolutely need the solar charger to make your system maintenance free, otherwise you’re going to be charging it every 3-5 days, depending on temperature. A second battery isn’t much different in cost than the solar panel I don’t think. The price for one camera monitoring is very reasonable to be able to take advantage of more of it’s features. You can talk to anyone that comes into view as well. Another nice feature, as well as video recording with the monitoring contract. It’s a great, simple, easy to use camera for peace of mind.

I really like that you can pull them up on the phone. And how you can talk to people through the camera but wish the speaker was louder. It would be . It would be nice if you could bring it up on your laptop .I really like how programable the zone area is.

I decided to get this once I bought a ring doorbell so everything would be integrated. I wanted a battery operated camera to make it simple to setup and use. Image quality is decent, and because of the light you also get pretty good night vision in color. Downside is lag in recording from time motion is detected and strength of connectivity to wifi is mediocre

Easy set up, just use the QR to start. This is my second time buying a cam, but the angle of the cam is different so I had to move it to a different location . Unlike the photo the support was located higher up so now the top was going into the ceiling with this configuration. Check that out before your purchase.

Originally purchased the Ring Pro doorbell (like it very much) and then decided to add the cameras for better coverage around the garage and back patio. I like the feature that allows for you to talk to someone through the camera (there is a speaker and mic). Having a dashboard on the smartphone is great as you can always check on your property regardless of where you are. Installation and set up was easy. A couple drawbacks: - Battery life is poor if using only one battery. Lasts about a 7-10 days depending on the frequency and quality of the video capture. - The Ring doorbell has a better system to set the motion zones. The cameras for some reason only provide a 3 pre-set zones. They should have the same as the doorbell for better coverage. Since I have the cameras mounted quite high (>10 feet) the constant battery charging is cumbersome. I decided to buy the solar panels to charge the batteries and to allow for the HD video capture and more frequent pictures. Was worth it. Overall I am pleased with the cameras and their performance, ease of use, and ability to store the videos and pictures online for future use if needed.

These battery operated Ring Cameras work great! At some points they are a bit glitchy when capturing video. This typically occurs when the battery starts to get low or it's really cold/hot outside. The wi-fi tends to go in and out on occasion even if my connection is showing full strength.

Very easy to install and use. These cameras are good but the picture quality isnt quite as good as higher end cctv security cameras. Night vision is okay with other motion activated lights. Without any help, these cameras probably won't see much more than outlines of people and cars. Hopefully the presence of these cameras will deter thieves.

These have been great! They are easily installed. I do recommend purchasing a few extra backup batteries. Sensitive to tree movement and wind, which eats up battery! Otherwise, picture is clear, speakers work great, videos can be downloaded and emailed. Happy to pay the yearly service with the Ring!

Purchased 4 ring cameras and the ring door bell. Very pleased. I also got the solar panels to go with the outside cameras. I was very impressed, so I decided to get a ring stick camera for inside to watch my fur babies when I'm not home, I love that I can talk to them through the cameras inside and out.

Love the camera and spot light, works great and has given us better sense of security in an area of our back yard that is very dark and secluded. Only down side is having to change the battery as we had to place it very high up. Will be looking into adding the solar to this so it can charge itself.

We started with the stick-up cam and purchased these for our back yard. Love the Ring products and their customer service is great. These cameras work great, however, they say the battery will stay charged for 6 months to a year, and I find that to be a major stretch. Maybe if it only records once a day, but for any normal house usage, you can get a month maybe 2 out of a battery. I would still recommend these very highly, but I would recommend you purchase a second battery (only about $20) for each camera.

Had a hard time deciding between the wireless and wired option, but went with this. I was concerned about the battery life and at 80% after 1 month, so not bad. The picture quality is decent and was easy to install. Happy with my purchase so far.

First generation stick up cam was good this one is much better It has quality video both day and night even with the lights off and it has a wide field of vision , the lights are great for lighting up dark spots but when you buy this make sure you invest in a 2nd battery battery to extend the time between charges

Bought these for home security and they work great! Good picture quality for the price and the ring app is user friendly. There is a monthly subscription to Ring in order to record but it's well worth it for a home security. Would also recommend buying the solar panels so you don't have to recharge the battery.

The Ring camera was a great buy. I had someone break into my truck and I purchase it the next day at Best Buy and the salesman was helpful in finding what I needed. The camera shows what going on 24 hours a day. Thanks Ring for having a great product. I would highly recommend the Ring outdoor flood light camera.

Easy installation. This is an awesome, easy, peace of mind item that helps me feel like my family is safer. I purchased this for my cousin who is now an empty nester and has trouble feeling secure in a home alone. Being able to check the cameras from her phone away and at home is awesome.

Huge improvement over failed Arlo Pro system

I had originally purchased an Arlo Pro 4 camera system. After about a year and a half usage one of the cameras failed. I then decided to try the ring cameras. I purchased (2) two camera kits 4 cameras total. It started off with a free 30-day Plus subscription trial, after that you can opt to pay per camera or pay for the Plus which was significantly cheaper for me with multiple cameras. This part I did not like as the Arlo had a free tier and the base station had USB ports for external storage. I had a 1TB drive hooked up. But one thing that really sold me was Ring offers replacement of any stolen device with the Plus subscription. Overall I spend an additional $180 over the cost host an Arlo Pro 4 camera system. The batteries last substantially longer than the are those systems batteries, and as a cherry on top you can put two batteries in the ring cameras. In spite of the differences I would rather recommend ring cameras over Arlo because of the battery life and the quality of detection of motion.
