Good camera, but terrible battery life. I can’t recommend this product without the solar charger for outdoor use as you have to charge the battery every couple of weeks.

We had our Ring Doorbell and cameras installed. This product is really good. But the doorbell doesn’t ring inside the house. It only gives us notification on our phones. We contacted the person that installed it ( i think from Geek ) and we were told that they will fix it. The person set up a date for him to come back. He was a no call no show. We texted him and he never replied back. We contacted the rep from Best Buy and we have been texting back and forth and it’s been over a mth now and our doorbell has not been fixed. Very frustrating after paying a lot of money this is the kind of service we got.

Overall good product. The viewing area is quality and expansive, however it is limited in its flexibility to adjust its alert/notification zone compared to the Ring doorbell (the area in which something/someone triggers the notification).

This spot light camera is wonderful. I’ve purchased 10 between 3 properties and they always work and look great. Even if you have a weak internet signal it learns the distance from the router and boosts its signal. Truly great.

Wow, we can see our whole neighborhood by moving my fingers around on the screen. The screen fills the whole phone area. We charged the camera, then the solar power unit took over.

Works great and in sync with my other Ring alerts. Remember to charge up the battery overnight, which I would have done had I read the directions. I will buy more for other areas of the property.

I bought for my mom for added security and mounted in her carport. Now she can view her carport, driveway and the that side of the house. It gives her peace of mind.

This product performs as expected. The battery lasts approximately 2 weeks on a charge. This can be improved by using the solar battery charger for this camera that will eliminate the need for battery charging.

The overall camera is good. The live feed doesn’t always work.

I love my cameras! The gentleman that installed them was prompt, polite, professional, knowledgeable, and quick. He explained everything easily and I can reach the camera batteries to charge them!

...but unless you're going to buy a separate solar power adapter, you need to manage batteries. The batteries do last quite a long time (after install I didn't have to touch it for a couple weeks running on a single battery. It supports two.) Checking the battery level is quick and easy (one tap from the viewing the image), and if you have a 3rd battery you can do a hot-swap with one if its dead. Big minus though -- I'm hearing Ring has contracted with hundreds of government agencies, which means technically there are thousands of people who *could* watch your videos without your knowledge. You can decide if that's a problem for you, as there are other camera systems that don't do this.

Purchased after a car break in and this product has come in clutch since. Battery life is great only wish the associate would have told me it has an option for a second battery

Love these cameras, bought 2 a few years ago with the solar panels, and still running without a problem. Just bought two more, well worth the money.

I never thought I would see all the things that are going on in my neighborhood like I see it now people out walking all hours of the night and mostly the speeders that I see go past my house Wow this has been a very good change for me.

Good item, thank you BestBuy team Is it beneficial to place a 2nd battery inside the spotlight so that the solar can charge twice as much ... or was that just a waste to add a 2nd battery?

Works as advertised. I have other Ring cameras and they all work great. I recommend to anyone looking into security cameras. The monthly/yearly monitoring fee is very reasonable.

Great product, works as described, seems a bit sensitive is extreme cold weather as the Camera light would go on without a real motion sensing..

We were so excited about this purchase! The only thing I do not like about this is the batteries. They do not last long at all, we should have paid more for the pro one that hard wires in. Otherwise, it works as expected.

I wanted the Ring camera but didn't want to pay the the price especially when there are so many options. But the Ring cameras are worth it. The wireless features, the lights and ability to talk to the people through camera are awesome!

I got this to keep an eye on my dogs in the backyard. If you have an echo dot and enable Ring, Alexa can set the live footage on your tv it’s perfect when you’re busy in the kitchen but want to keep tabs on what your kiddos are up to.
