I needed cameras on my pool and side of the house for security and safety reasons. This bundle pack saved money, easy to install and i highly recommend using the Solar panels for complete wireless capability.

Some kids were playing hide and seek at night and I saw them through my camera. I turned on the siren and they went running. Hilarious. Videos could be better quality but it’ll get the job done.

He has two other battery Ring cams, and they last for quite a while before replacing the batteries with the backups.

It was easy to install, and has been a great asset for allowing us to keep an eye on the area where the stairs lead up to our deck. The clarity of the camera is outstanding!

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Ring Spotlight Camera picking up the correct motion. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us. We strive to deliver quality devices that will serve you in the long run, as we understand that you will be relying on them for your home security. The Ring Spotlight Wire-free Cam installation is intended to be as simple as possible.
This camera can be mounted on a wall or eave by simply changing the direction of the mounting plate. To do this, open the battery compartment. Next, remove the security screw and weather seal. Press the release button and slide the mounting plate down and out. To mount on a wall, reinsert the mounting plate with the ball socket pointing down. This allows for vertical mounting without the need for shims or wedges. The locking collar tightens clockwise and should only take a few turns to fully tighten.

I put the 2nd battery in and haven’t had to charge in almost a month now. Will be getting one for the front of the house soon.

Not a lot nut I have had deliveries at my front door and not been able to see the person initiate the motion. Other than that, I am fine with it.
