I was very surprised at the wide view of the camera. We also have the ring doorbell and spot lights on our driveway. I'm very pleased with all 3 products and they were easy for my husband to install.

I purchased for my father in law and he is buying more for himself. I am a law enforcement officer so who better to take care of my place than me!? Anyway, great system.

I am notified when anyone is in my yard and I can see who it is and what they are doing without looking out a window. They don't see me.

I wish you could turn down the sensitivity of the motion sensor, you can adjust the range. Also, I wish you could set up activity zones like you can for the doorbell pro.

I have it so it covers the entire patio and patio door. Works great. You can set the distance it picks up so the landscapers mowing at ground level don't set mine off.

Night vision is not the best quality either.

Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. My backyard seems to have a weak signal. It still records but it isn’t as consistent as my doorbell connection. I can access the archived video so I don’t miss anything but live view is spotty.

Cery pleased with the light feature, really helpful during night when I want to see in a detail what's going on. Also comes with extra space for one more battery to use.

Battery life is very short, We are keeping system but not over joyed with them

This will allow the camera to continue to work when the power is out. I have my WiFi connected to a UPS box. So I never have to worry about power outages.
