Now it takes longer to get the picture of what we r looking out and not as easy to get the view. Sometimes it takes two or more minutes it seems to have a delay.

I had the perfect spot, but it was slightly too far from the wifi spot. I moved it closer and it was "better." But it still has trouble being consistent when we want to check an alert. Moreover, there is a ton of false warnings. Even though I have set the parameters of the space it is "seeing," it still will pick up things outside that area. However, I feel better knowing it is there. The good rating is more for the number of false positives and intermittent connections even though it is only about 20 feet from Wifi.

It would be nice if you could drop a MicroSd card in and keep some recordings. L9ng battery life before recharging

Ring doesn’t work if you have a password that includes a symbol, so we would have had to change our passwords for everything else in the house in order to install these spotlights, which would have been very difficult. Instead, we returned them and have ordered another system. The installer worked a long time trying to get them to work and called for support but no go.

Posted .Hi jAGG. This isn't the Ring experience that we would want you to have. Sometimes, no alphanumeric passwords can be problematic for the setup process. If you router allows, you can create a separate network for specific for your Ring devices. This has been a great workaround for some. This spotlight does a great job of lightening the area without overpowering my neighbors. Great choice.

If installing multiple cameras or in locations that are high off the ground I would use the hard wired option. Phone app is user friendly and works well.

Will record everything that walks in its path, but if unable to view the app while at work, you won't be able to view a livestream over the internet. I believe that is the only set back.

Except for a stupid cat that sets it off every morning between 1:00 am and 4:00 am. Not Ring fault. Great ease to retrieve info from wherever my phone has reception
