The Ring Spotlight camera has excellent video quality! Even at night when the light turns on (when activated) the quality is still great. I highly recommend it to anyone. My only concern is that I wish I could control when the video starts. The other day a couple of Mallard ducks came into my yard and the video started when they were almost out of the picture. I wish I could control the start of the video when they first came into view. I have the motion setting to as wide and deep as possible!

My mother in law is very happy with this camera and it gives my husband peace of mind.

These cameras were very easy to set up to my phone and install. I installed one in my brick and one in the joists of my deck. I quickly learned to turn the notifications off on my phone because it would go off constantly at night and throughout the day. These are very sensitive cameras even when I adjust the range in settings. A snowflake or a change in glare outside will cause them to sense motion. Generally I check the captured videos a few times throughout the day. You do have to purchase a plan in order to be able to keep the videos.

Excellent addition to our other Ring product! Clear, wide view. Light is very bright. Plan to get another one for the back yard.

Camera has captured a lot of overnight activity that we didnt know was occuring. Highly recommend for security.

The Ring Spotlight Cam was a great addition to our home's ring of protection. I also got the Ring solar panel with it, and that's been great. I set it up the first time, and I've never had to worry about charging it again. It always has great battery life, and it's great to be able to check different areas of the home, and be able to trigger another camera to record when either trigger motion. The lights are also quite bright, and it works great for the front of our house.

Easy to hang, use and sync. Clear pictures and a bright light.

The installation is easy. The camera is a little sensitive. I sometimes get alerts when insects are near the camera. The price is also a little high.

The camera itself it great and works well, but even with a second battery, the battery life is lacking a bit.

I have no experience with any other security cameras but I am happy with the purchase. The software is constantly being upgraded and they’re easy to use. Only thing is that if these are in a high traffic area, the batteries won’t last very long and if you use a recharge cable. It can’t keep up with the drainage from constantly sensing people. Would have been nice if it was a plug in with battery back up but it doesn’t work that way I guess

I enjoy the ring, spotlight camera it’s wireless I do not have to worry about charging it. I monitor it for my phone.

This camera works as advertised... I am still playing with the sensitivity levels, but as a whole it works well. I was surprised that I had a compartment for a 2nd battery and that a 2nd battery was not included, but was pleased to learn that one battery was sufficient to operate the camera, and that a 2nd battery extends the life of the unit, as they are drained one at a time. The clear advantage with two batteries is that when it's time to recharge, the camera is never out of service.

Camera does what it is supposed to. During inclement weather it does loss connectivity rather easy. Battery life is great one the camera.

Works great no lagging and clear HD picture. Very easy installation and the app is very user friendly.
