Great picture although I wish the zoom was a little more clear... it seems to catch a lot of activity. My house doesn't have a good view of my backyard so I use this camera as a "window" sometimes to keep an eye on my boys and dogs. I just have to ask Alexa to show me the backyard and I can hear/see whatever is happening on my TV.

I love these ring cameras. They work great and I would def recommend.

Love our new Ring Spotlight Security Cameras. They have excellent sound and produce high definition images. Motion sensor triggers the lights whenever movement is noted and I can control both the lights and siren from my cellular even when I am away. It’s a win-win!

You have probably seen the advertisements for Ring. They make the system look great and fit every need you may have. That is not entirely accurate though. The camera does a great job of activating while picking up movement. The image is 1080p so it is good but not as good as some systems. Generally a person or car needs to get closer to the camera for a good image. However, I have found that the battery life on these is not as good as I want. The system activates with trees blowing which drains battery life. Also every single car that drives by sets off the system which drains the power more. If I get one month on a full battery charge I am lucky. Granted I only run with one battery in the system (it will hold 2 for convenience), but it is a major inconvenience to be charging these all the time. With 4 of them, I spend about 4 days a month to do a recharge cycle. This gets very annoying quickly.

My front door ring cam must last less than 3 weeks with 1 battery. this beast with 2 batteries is down to 50% on 1 and still at 100% on the other. Important to turn off notifications if you WFH though. Otherwise they come in rapidly and often resulting in a faster battery drain.

surprised at even squirrels and a flock of birds set off the alarm and send video to my I-phone. Love that it sounds just as delivery folks round the corner of the garage I can see so clearly the nature of their business before they reach the front door.

Very nice camera, has many features and useful. Practical to Mount on the wall.
