These are great for what they are, battery powered. I would love wired but I am not dealing with the pain to do that so this is an amazing alternative. The cameras house 2 batteries each so I recommend forking the extra cost for 2 extra batteries per camera so 4 total per camera. That way when they die, you can easily replace them. It’s a lot more money but worth it in the long run. I don’t like getting up on ladders a lot throughout the year. Highly recommend for battery option only situations like mine. Very cool
