Posted .Hi there, I understand the importance of having your Spotlight Cams detect and record visitors to your property. It's possible that whatever is triggering the motion detection on one Spotlight Cam is not crossing into the Motion Zones of the other. I'd suggest reviewing your Motion Zones, as well as checking the Motion Frequency setting to ensure it's set to your liking. Good but could be a bit better

Sometimes they are a bit slow triggering and miss most of what triggered them. Other times they seem to get all of the motion and sometimes skip some in the middle. And typically you could not read a license plate number off of the recording. It could be that my internet speed needs to be better but I have all that they offer in my area.(which is not that fast) It is great that I get instant notifications on my cell phone and can see what is going on. I do intend to add a couple more.

I tested for a few days and it’s sufficient for my use. Although I don’t anticipate getting much alerts from these two cameras because I installed it in the rear of my home, I decided to not bother and installed solar panels to the cameras a week later. NOTE: The light is definitely not as bright as the camera w/floodlight.
