Not the best picture quality at night!

It was easy to install and I like the features the Spotlight Cam has to offer like the siren and the spotlight but the picture quality at night is poor in my opinion.

Posted .Hi Jeff. I understand how important it is to be able to clearly see what's going on around your home both during the day and at night. When your Spotlight Cam detects motion at night, the lights should come on. If that doesn't provide enough light for you to see what is happening, you can try adding some additional lighting near your Spotlight Cam. However for my application, the lights were not bright enough. Since I did not have an electric outlet to mount a wired Ring camera/light, I had hoped the battery operated device would work. Ultimately, I returned the battery operated camera/light. The return was very easy at my local Best Buy.

This camera gave incredibly brilliant views of our backyard swimming area. The problem was you cannot turn the camera off. Every time the grandkids would run by the camera it would continue to turn on. Even with the motion detector was set on off the camera continued to run. It needs to be re-designed so one can flip a switch and put it on like a security system and then turned it off at will.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The camera works good but it can be easily stolen and the battery was stolen out of mine the other night and Best Buy would not replace it I had to go directly to ring who would not replace the battery either unless I need a police report I can’t imagine calling the police over a battery and the bottom compartment did not close properly so I had to get a whole new camera that ring did send me one out really quickly but overall it’s a great product
