Really not thrilled with these.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My problem with my 3 Spot Light Cams is their slow at initializing or “activating device” for live view. Slow to wont even activate. Also, the camera only catches about 50 percent of the motion. I’ve adjusted the camera from height to tilt position in ever direction. I also bought the best WiFi extenders with satellites so my RSSI is like -16 to -38. My internet speeds are untouchable. Changed settings. Been back and fourth with Ring and we keep doing the same steps.. unplug modem, wait 10 seconds, then plug back in and try again... for the price and then all the accessories you gotta buy to make it run with out errors and you still have errors, it’s not worth the price until the issues are solved. I don’t recommend this spot light camera. I hope there’s a software update that could possibly fix the issue but, still interacting with Ring to find a solution. I don’t feel like it’s going to get fixed though. Now, with that being said, I’ve got three Ring Flood Light Cams that are direct wired in that run flawlessly. Great color, great picture, great features.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with answering your doorbell from your Ring App. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.
