Wire-free doesn't stay connected to wifi.

Says it needs to be near a modem. If this is outdoor over my garage it cannot be close to the modem. I also have an extender that didn't expand the wifi connection. I returned it because it won't stay online connected.

These work in any weather and the only potential concern is humidity (such as when it's raining or condensation may form) on the camera lens. They still record, but you may need to wipe the lens dry until it dries out naturally as the sun rises and warms things up.
