This camera is excellent. The only downfall is if you are going to be purchasing it with the solar panel it is advise that you get a second battery the camera is compatible with two batteries simultaneously. The solar panel will perform best with two batteries installed. Other then deciding how you want to work out the power for the camera the camera itself is absolutely excellent and does the job as intended.

These cameras never fail and they provide a clear video. So far they have held up in high winds and hard rains.

After getting it adjusted it now gives us a feeling of security when we are at home and when we are gone. It is wonderful to know that you can be notified when someone is walking in the areas covered by your camera any time of day.

I stuck this up overlooking my front patio, and got the battery powered unit. I put an extra battery in it ( it comes with one, and only uses one at a time, so you can recharge the “ dead” battery while the other provides coverage of your property. The install was very easy, if you know how to operate a screwdriver (lefty loosy, rightie tighty) you’ve got the install beat. After dark the light comes on, and gives an excellent view when motion is detected.

We purchased the Ring doorbell and loved it so we had to purchase the spotlight cam. It has great video quality, although it does tend to lag sometimes. (Might be our internet service) My only issue would be the battery life, we have to constantly recharge the batteries but we are always checking the live view which causes them to go out faster. They have other options which can help solve this issue such as the solar spot cam. Overall it's a great investment to secure your property, and the app is also great to see what's happening in your area.

Works well. Easy install. The only confusion is between associates-one said solar panel would not be appropriate, installer said it would have been fine. I went with battery-operated which means I'll have to occasionally have to get up on a ladder to exchange battery (which I was trying to avoid). Overall, happy with performance.

Works great with good motion detection and video quality. Needed to ad a solar panel to maintain the battery life.

So far I have installed 5-6 cameras at very places for myself and family members. The first installation is easy with the detailed videos and instructions. By the time I installed the 5 camera, it was so quick and easy that I synced it to the other cameras and the ring app, that I was done and operational in 15 minutes. Great product and easy to use and install.
