Haven’t caught a human in the act yet, but when I get the alert on my phone, I can go to see what’s happening. Only reason why the 4 star is there is a couple seconds of lag but I guess that’s the way it is. Happy so far though!!

These are good not 5 star because I purchased other items from ring but seemed to have a lag a few times so far. My internet is actually fast so and that includes the ring bridge so not sure if it’s a software issue for now. This will give you a piece of mind watching over your home.

Lights, siren, and ability to speak through camera is a plus. Battery lasts about 45 days and I have a spare battery to swap out for fast replacement.

Just a so so device

I swear a criminal could come and go before the camera picked it up. I've had UPS deliveries and they were never captured. If someone moves slow, then it works.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Ring Spotlight Camera picking up the correct motion. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life.
