It's a good camera to begin with. Who knew that rainy weather would cloud the lens or that it could get wet inside and leave you blind after dark. Sometimes the lights won't come on or get stuck and won't turn off for a little while. I guess things like that have glitches sometimes. 95% of the time it just fine.

Replaced my D-Link camera with all ring devices. The app is great and the camera angle is awesome. I stuck this in front of my driveway facing my vehicles after recent vehicle break in’s in my neighborhood

I have this outside a back door. It catches motion that is close but expected it to get a bit more of my back yard. Also past like 25 feet, it’s very hard to make out any details. I do have two batteries in mine so I can’t comment on battery life quite yet but hoping it lasts 6 months like they claim.

Love my ring camera !!! I have bought 3 cameras and a dorbell and they are so nice !!! I honestly think they help deter thiefs when they see them. Ring is a good company to and they don't charge much either i would definitely recommend

Not being experienced in outdoor security, I can’t give a review one way or the other. I will say, however, that it takes a while to see who is at your front door/ other camera location. Sometimes I get a ring notification, sometimes nor. I am still learning the system. Maybe it needs to be tweaked

I purchased this to compare to The Arlo 2k cameras. Honestly I didn’t think the Arlo quality while live streaming through the app was very good so I wanted to look at this ring camera as an option. I found that the streaming quality of this camera was about the same but it had a tendency to freeze. Also, overall, I liked the look and feel of the Arlo cameras and the app set up more than Ring. I think this camera is average. It will do what it says and work well with a Ring ecosystem. Recorded videos also are not bad, but I would not consider if your primary goal is live viewing or if you have really high quality expectations. If you do, I think I would suggest looking at wired cameras.

The pros.. easy to set up! Good tech support if needed. The cons.. prices add up easily if doing wireless camera for extra battery or solar panel. Plus fees for video recording by company. (Note) fees are per each cameras!

Bought the 2 pack before we were going on vacation to keep an eye on our house. Great investment. I bought extra batteries so both cameras have 2 batteries in them. They’ve been up almost 2 months and still haven’t drained the first battery.

Ours broke down after a few months. Tried replacing the battery but that wasn't the problem. Ring is sending a new camera. I'm happy with the company but it alerts on our phone constantly. Be careful where you aim it or it will annoy you too.

Very nice security cam with light. You definitely need a good WiFi to connect to it. Before investing in Ring cams, highly recommend installing a mesh WiFi network that can reach outside the house. It solves a lot of the connectivity problems in the bad reviews.

The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star rating is that although the Camera being outdoor will need a WiFi range extender. They don’t connect that well with out one. The router is just on the other side of the wall and considering I live in a small apartment, it still requires the WiFi extender. Besides that, it’s a good product.

The only reason I give it 4 stars is because it can be a little sensitive even when your setting are adjusted. Outside of that the single battery pack has been in for a month and still hasn’t given up. Very impressed with everything ring has to offer, and if you’re thinking about it... just do it

Easy way to secure your home. It works as promised.

Challenging to keep the camera pointed in the correct direction even when tightening the retention ring used to lock down the position. Otherwise, it is a good product. We like the fact that the camera can accommodate two batteries, even though the unit only comes with one battery.
