It was easy to install and set up. The light is decently bright and the sensitivity of the motion sensor is good. The camera resolution isn’t too bad either. I can identify who it is that triggered the motion sensor at least.

First camera went bad. It would not stay connected to wifi at night. It would connect during the day but not at night. I spent entirely to much time and to many phone calls to ring support before they decided the camera was bad and sent a replacement. The replacement had been up now for about a week worth no issues. I would have given more stars but due to the number of phone calls and the amount of time that I had to spend with customer service to get the issue resolved I feel they could have done a better job resolving my problem sooner. On the other hand my friend had the exact opposite experience with them. I guess their customer service is a crap shoot. If eufy made a camera with a spot light as good as the ring camera I would recommend it two to one.

Great wireless security camera. Works extremely well for my side door and driveway. It works exactly as described, and it is best if you purchase an extra battery. The two batteries provide at least 3-4 months of operation before requiring a charge.

This cam is a good deterrent to those people that are lurking around other people houses. I put it in my apartment building hallway and i guarantee that every person that looks like they should not be in our hallway covers their face when they see it. but they do not see the other doorbell cam. suckas.

Have two sets of two batteries and only have to change about once a month that way. This is because my neighborhood is very active and has constant traffic. I have zero complaints about this and honestly wish I would’ve bought the two pack!

Very happy with this. Was concerned about the battery power but so far the energy used has been minimal. Have not had a chance to hook up solar panels for it yet. May save the solar panel for another camera since we out this one accessible enough the swap batteries once every few weeks.

I like the clarity and the fact you can add a second battery. Added a solar charger to prevent having to climb to recharge the battery since it is not hard wired. I wish the light was brighter, hence the 4 stars. Overall I really like it and it was easy to add to my current Ring account.

I love this camera and the security it brings, especially for confirming if services are being performed while I’m at work (lawn care, etc.) the Motion sensor is sensitive, if the wind blows the grill cover a little, it will set it off. I wish it had the same motion zone setting options as the doorbell, but it doesn’t

We purchased this to supplement our existing hardwired security system as we don’t have any cameras which face our kids’ outdoor play area. We like that this security camera by Ring uses the same app interface as our Ring doorbell and didn’t require us to add a hardwired power source.

Kids have a problem with people putting toilet paper , forks buried in the yard air let out of tires and filthy words painted on their cars put a ring camera with a solar charger for the battery on the house so they can record for the Sheriff department.

I got this camera to replace my outdoor BlinkXT camera. Setup was very simple and the camera view is near perfect. The setting option of motion control is what makes this camera stand out as well as the Ring Neighborhood which is part of the app. After a few days of perfect operation I have noticed lag time when viewing the camera and choppy video when it detects and records motion. I have also had many wifi drops and have had to set the camera up 4 times so far. I feel if you had a Ring Chime Extender added with this camera it would work better, but I went ahead and purchased a Netgear Extender and finally got the camera connected again. I have other devices in the same area and have not had any drops or wifi distance issues so I don't know what the deal is with the Ring Camera. It has been a day and a half with the extender set up correctly and haven't had much of a problem yet and I will try to update later on how this is working.

I'm not extremely impressed with it so far. Every morning the picture is blurry due to condensation. I don't know if it's a defect or not. It takes a few hours after the sun comes up to dry up and the picture is fine. We Don't have that problem with any of our other cameras.

The batteries right out of the box wouldn't charge fully. I decided to just use them half charged to get the camera's set up. They worked for a month and now the batteries won't charge past half way and one camera stopped working all together. Worst purchase ever!

Rings are awesome! I love ring able to track packages and food deliveries, wildlife, etc. I do wish they kicked on faster when capturing movement and captured even higher quality video but overall, these give me so much peace of mind!

Great camera for the use and the security reasons.

I can see most things in the viewing area. Unfortunately, when someone came into my yard and stole the recycle bin it missed that altogether. So, other than the occasional break it takes it works fine.

I wanted to have coverage in a couple of areas where it was not feasible to use a wired unit. This lithium battery powered pair did the trick. I'll have to climb a ladder every couple of months (or every four months if you use two packs), but it's easy to pull out from the mounted unit.

We love our ring cameras and are subscribed to the yearly plan. If your wifi is good to go I would definitely recommend this product. It is much cheaper than all the other home security companies and does the same thing pretty much.

This was completely worth the money. Orginally I was hesitant because of the price, but the cameras come with an extra battery slot. So they last longer plus the lights give the camera such clarity at night.
