I was very surprised at the wide view of the camera. We also have the ring doorbell and spot lights on our driveway. I'm very pleased with all 3 products and they were easy for my husband to install.

Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. They have a ring doorbell but needed coverage for the back of the house. This is set up where it can detect movement going into their garage and shed. They love it.

My backyard seems to have a weak signal. It still records but it isn’t as consistent as my doorbell connection. I can access the archived video so I don’t miss anything but live view is spotty.

GREAT TO COVER A BACK DOOR OR PATIO

I have it so it covers the entire patio and patio door. Works great. You can set the distance it picks up so the landscapers mowing at ground level don't set mine off.

I wish you could turn down the sensitivity of the motion sensor, you can adjust the range. Also, I wish you could set up activity zones like you can for the doorbell pro.

I am notified when anyone is in my yard and I can see who it is and what they are doing without looking out a window. They don't see me.

I get alerts on my Alexas and on my phone and iPad. The image clarity is fairly good but could use some improvement.
