Awaiting a new camera to come in and be installed. I like the concept, but haven’t had the opportunity to enjoy all that it could offer. The battery that came with the camera was only at 26% charge so buy an additional battery so you are able to put in a fully charged battery while awaiting the other battery to charge. Agent said it’s because the cameras and battery sit in the warehouse so long they lose their charge.

Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. You can limit motion zones and it alerts you when it picks up people and not our shade covers. Definitely recommend this.

Not all that I expected

However there are some flaws as your WiFi connectivity could be an issue and also the fact that the batteries do not last very long at all. Been on the phone with ring several times and they are very helpful but charging batteries every two weeks is not realistic. Not pleased with that aspect.
