Make sure you have a good WiFi broadband. Slow to connect on my older router. Make sure to buy an extra battery or buy the solar charger.

Ring customer support, if you have any questions, is really good, and proactive to make sure you are in good shape.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble keeping your Ring Spotlight Camera battery charged. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. Night vision is not what I thought it would be. (I bought for evening visibility.) Night vision is grey and black and no clear visibility of what's moving, meaning animal or person. And I do have quite a few garden lights in the ground but does not give enough lighting. . I will have to install some type of wall light in order to get clear color night vision. Would not recommend without additional wall lighting. However I do have 2 ring motion flood lights that I love and recommend highly.

Certain models of Ring devices have a night vision feature that allows you to see through the camera in low light conditions. By using infrared light, the camera can create a black and white image that is then beamed to the Live View in your app. By turning the color night vision feature on, the camera will use whatever ambient light is available to try and create a "false color" image in your Live View. This lets you get a better sense of what’s happening in the image by creating a false sense of color depth. Not all that I expected

However there are some flaws as your WiFi connectivity could be an issue and also the fact that the batteries do not last very long at all. Been on the phone with ring several times and they are very helpful but charging batteries every two weeks is not realistic. Not pleased with that aspect.
