Delivery trucks, jogging neighbors nothing. It only detects people leaving the house. By then it’s too late! 2. Battery life is 30 days max. For $200, I should not have random to no alerts nor should I have to buy an extra battery. Bought my boyfriend a $60 camera for his shop that works better. If i didn’t toss the box I would have returned.

Ring knows the importance of having the motion detection work as intended. It is a valuable feature that is designed to notify you as to who may be near your home. Please know that it is a priority for us to be of assistance and find a resolution to your concern.
It sounds like the Motion Frequency feature may not have been set up properly for your environment within the Ring App. Ring's Motion Frequency algorithm is an internal program that runs inside of your Ring device. It analyzes the traffic patterns of detected motions, looking for repetitive patterns. When it detects such a pattern, it essentially "sleeps" your device for a certain period of time, cutting down the number of motion alerts you'll get from the same set of stimuli. The more time a repetitive pattern of motion continues, the longer the time between issuing motion alerts.

The Ring app provides a convenient Power Settings menu that helps adjust these settings. To find it, please launch the app and open the menu in the left-hand corner. Select the Devices tab and then select your Ring Spotlight Camera. The Power Settings tile will be listed on this page. Please follow the guidance within that tile to optimize your Ring battery.

Excellent system

They work well together I would have rather had the flood light ring, but I didn’t have an existing flood light in place where I wanted the cameras

They do go off when no one is there. We have it set on people only. But hey it could still be us. Lol We are still glad we have it!

The light is not ultra bright but it will get your attention. If you want brighter get a flood light.

Estimating about 8-10 days . Be mindful that u will have to take the battery out of the camera each time & it takes 24 hrs to fully charge. Ohh & don’t forget about the monthly paid subscription with Ring after the trial period.

A Solar Panel only needs 4 hours of sunlight per day to maintain your battery level, with average use. Customer service was great and the technician was prompt and over ready to install my camera. He had another Spotlight Camera with him, LOL!
