Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble keeping your Ring Spotlight Camera battery charged. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. There are still instances where it will miss someone in my driveway but catch a school bus in the street.

This is pretty much what I get most of the time while trying to access my cameras. Activating, but nothing. I have 3 cameras and they all do the same thing. I got 1000mbs and an extender , so its not my internet. Looking for another camera setup probably going with Comcast or ADT.

We understand the importance of being able to connect to your Ring device on demand, so that you can monitor your home no matter where you are. We would like to provide you some tips and tricks to ensure your device is set up for optimal performance.
It sounds like you are having difficulty connecting to live view on your Ring device. This typically means there's a problem in the data transfer between your Ring device and the Ring App. As a result, your Ring App is unable to show you a Live View or display a video recording from your Ring camera(s). You might see a message that says Activating Device, but the camera eventually times out.
If your internet speeds are good, you may still have an issue with the strength of the signal between your router and the Ring device. Signal strength is just as important as speed when it comes to transmitting a video image from your Ring device to your Ring App.
