At night, the night vision on your Spotlight Cams should activate to help you see what's happening more clearly. It may not be as clear as during the day given the difference in lighting. Works great over wifi

The signal strength is not all that good, the unit was about 30' from our WiFi and it constantly showed "low signal". We even got the speaker/repeater and it didn't help. It also had a lot of false alarms. The biggest issue, when we would have an alarm it would take forever to open the viewer, and for record, we had extremely fast internet high speed internet, in the upper 600s.

After reading your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Spotlight Camera picking up the correct motion. When this occurs, we recommend adjusting your motion settings. For more information on adjusting your motion settings to better fit your needs, please see our help center article: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices. Please pay close attention to the Motion Frequency setting and consider adjusting this to frequent within the Ring App. Frequent gives you the most motion alerts and ensures you don’t miss any activity.
Also, if you are noticing that you are having trouble answering your Ring device from your Ring App. If this is the case, we recommend installing the Rapid Ring on your respective smartphone device. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.
