Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble keeping your Ring Spotlight Camera battery charged. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment and preserve battery life. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We completely understand the relevance of having your home security up and running. Having peace of mind that your device’s connectivity is solid is also very important, We also expect a product to perform at its optimal use.

 

After reading your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Spotlight Camera picking up the correct motion. When this occurs, we recommend adjusting your motion settings. For more information on adjusting your motion settings to better fit your needs, please see our help center article: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360022462472-Utilizing-Motion-Detection-with-your-Ring-Battery-Devices. Please pay close attention to the Motion Frequency setting and consider adjusting this to frequent within the Ring App. Frequent gives you the most motion alerts and ensures you don’t miss any activity.

 

 

Also, if you are noticing that you are having trouble answering your Ring device from your Ring App. If this is the case, we recommend installing the Rapid Ring on your respective smartphone device. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.
