In order to avoid any false alerts, please ensure the rubber gasket around the battery hatch is clear of any accumulated dust and debris. To securely close the compartment, start by slowly yet firmly closing the door until all edges are touching. Push further until hear or feel a small click, ensuring the door is locked and secure.

The cameras do display a good picture when the signal is strong however, depending on the placement of cameras the farther away from router the slower the signal to respond. Also the batteries must be fully charged before you can set up cameras and this takes a very long time, almost 8 or 9 hours. Not to mention they seem to run down pretty fast and a back up battery cost an additional $30.00.
