Most of the time it starts recording after someone walks buy. the battery lenght is horrible. I have ring doorbell and flood lights and woill replce these ones soon!

Posted .Hi Normaluser. Getting the most out of your home security devices is key to having that peace of mind. Delayed recordings can either be attributed to the motion settings needing to be adjusted, or to a weak wifi connection. I'd recommend verifying that your motion settings are set to your liking, and then checking the RSSI to verify that your Spotlight Cam is receiving a strong connection. The wireless cameras are not as clear

The flood ring cameras that are connected to electricity provide a more clear picture at night than the wireless. I would not recommend them if you have the option of installing the wired flood cameras
