    Battery does not charge.Geek squad installer said battery would be charged for six months. It lasted three days. We installed a solar panel with the ring camera so that we would not have battery issue but ultimate fail.

    One camera work the other did not!

    Am disappointed in one of my cameras - after charging & changing the batteries - the one camera stop showing the video - it would alert motion & record - but the video would come back - I reinstall the app - scan the bar to setup & now I can’t refund or exchange for another one - am sorry just frustrated!

      Based on your review, it seems like you are having trouble setting up your Ring Spotlight Camera. If this is the case, we recommend resetting the device. To reset your Ring Spotlight Camera, press and hold the setup button. Once the light on the bottom of the device stops flashing, you may continue setting up the device.       All our devices do come with a limited one-year warranty, during which Ring will repair or replace any Ring products that malfunction due to defective parts or workmanship, at no charge to you.       Hi Justin956. Being able to rely on your Spotlight Cam is key to your peace of mind. The Solar Panel is designed to provide a trickle charge to the battery in your Spotlight Cam so you do not have to manually charge it as often. The Solar Panel needs several hours of direct sunlight per day in order to provide that trickle charge. Various factors can influence how quickly the battery in your Spotlight Cam may discharge, including the number of events the Spotlight Cam records, so it may drain more quickly than it can be charged by the Solar Panel.     Not operating. Batteries died after a Couple days and I was not advised about solar panels until the initial install. So ordered panels, installed yesterday and after 24 hours, nada. What the what.

      When using a solar panel, Ring recommends at least three to four hours of direct sunlight, depending on your usage. Make sure there are no obstructions that could be casting a shadow on your solar power device such as an extended roof, trees branches, or bushes. If your installation area is frequently very cloudy or gets a lot of rain or snow, this could limit the amount of sunlight that your solar power device receives.
      The solar panel requires direct sunlight. Filtered/indirect sunlight through the clouds will not provide a charge to your doorbell/camera.       Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with answering your doorbell from your Ring App. Rapid Ring is a "light" version of the classic Ring app with most of the features stripped out except for the ability to activate a Live View and respond to an event as quickly as possible. By using the Rapid Ring app in conjunction with the original Ring app, you'll be able to answer your notifications as quickly as possible.
