Ring cameras have excellent pictures. Had to buy wifi extender but that was no problem. When you plug it in near your router, your phone identifies it quickly. If you have a large house, be prepared to buy a ring extender. Support for product is very good. They get you connected very fast. Love ring products. Can listen and talk to people viewed on the camera.

There is a delay in motion detection by few seconds or so. I don't like getting on a ladder to change the battery. I would strongly suggest having a backup battery so when one battery is low you have a full charged battery ready to swap out so there not a lapse in security coverage. Other than these small issues, I am happy with the product.

My 1st one was a dud and had to be returned. After contacting Ring tech support, they diagnosed it as defective. The second one works great. The light is not as bright as I hoped, but that may be due to the device running on battery and its need to conserve power. One tip is to not mount it too high. If you put it too high the light is not really effective. All in all, I do like it but I would wait until it goes on sale to purchase one.

Not as good as the spotlight. I am planning on returning to buy wired spotlight as setting the motion area isn't as accurate and batteries drain rather fast.

We have several of these around the home. They have great response times in terms of sending the notice to the cellphone. Only downfall is that I have some trouble replacing the battery in the winter on one if them. I have to pull it down and bring it inside to warm up in order for it to recognize the refreshed battery. Otherwise, I would highly recommend and actually plan to purchase at least 1 more.

DC was very helpful setting up sale and install. Install was quick and easy. Camera worked great for about 10 days. Stopped working. Couldn’t reset to get network. Called Ring help line. Tried several attempts - no bueno. So they sent new camera, but hit your card for the new one and will credit returned camera …. Hopefully 2nd camera lasts a little longer.

I spent a lot of time researching cameras based upon several factors including data storage and ease of set up. Ring was by far the best. They were so easy to set up and pair with the app it was ridiculous. The tech support was way above average when I had any questions. I have these and several other Ring products installed on my home and have had 0 complaints or problems since they were installed 2 months ago.

The camera and motion sensor light were a great addition to my security system.

The ring spotlight camera is very easy to install & setup. And has a very clear picture!

My front door ring cam must last less than 3 weeks with 1 battery. this beast with 2 batteries is down to 50% on 1 and still at 100% on the other. Important to turn off notifications if you WFH though. Otherwise they come in rapidly and often resulting in a faster battery drain.

These two Ring Spotlight cameras met my need perfectly. I love all the features, and there really are too many to mention them all! My favorite feature is the ability to link the cameras with each other and with my Ring Video doorbell so that when a specified camera senses motion, another camera automatically starts recording, too!

We love our Ring cameras. We have enjoyed the ease it has provided in giving security and peace of mind when at home or on travel. Only reason that it is not a five star is that after one year we had to get new ones with the warranty due to the cameras not connecting to the Wifi. Didn’t have to pay a dime for the replacement thanks to Best Buy, just a slight inconvenience having to take them down, trade them in, and set up the new cameras.
