Easy to install, app easy to navigate! Motion detection, siren, and great video are the reason why i choose this for our backyard door.

I got the Ring Spotlight Cam to notify me when someone was on my driveway. It was more of a convenience purpose than a security purpose. Initially wanted to reduce field of view as it was being triggered when cars drove by. I was able to do this but also notice that at night when it rains the driveway is wet and reflects the headlights. This sets off the cam and sends me a notification. There is not way to adjust for this. Camera works very well though.

I thought to wait for couple of days before writing my review about this product. So far awesome experience. As this is battery operated, only catch is to keep the battery charged but battery life is really good. Camera range is wide and immediate response when it identifies the object to send the notification on app. Image quality is really good even in night.

Exactly what I wanted in an outdoor camera, works well. Picture quality is great i paired it with the solar panel so no hardwire needed!

I live in a rental property so I needed something that didn't require wiring and could come with me if I moved. I set one in my driveway and one just outside my front door. They're excellent video, voice/sound interactive, and have an alarms if needed. I set up quiet times when I can live view what's happening, and unique phone alarm sounds should anything happen after dark and when I am sleeping. Batteries seem to be holding well, but I have purchased extra batteries for each unit (they hold two). I may get another set for my side door and backyard.

Camera is very wide ranged. At night it does not give good quality video feed or live feed. It seems foggy. Daytime is great.

My sixth Ring camera and as easy as the others to install; just need to use four screws to install the mounting bracket and slide on the camera. Using it above my garage instead of the flood light cam due to lower cost and no existing wiring. One feature I was pleasantly surprised about was that this camera also has two slots for two individual batteries. You only need one to operate it, but two will extend the life.

I purchased this camera to accompany the Ring Doorbell and alexa echo I purchased. My only concern is that the unit works best with 2 batteries but only one is included in the purchase. The second battery must be purchased seperately. It works fine with just one, but it requires charging much more frequently than with two. Also, Ring provides 30 day monitoring with the purchase, after that there is a fee of either $30 or $100 per year, depending on which plan you choose. This seems to be the rule rather than the exception lately with new Technology. Nickel and dime you to death.

I use this mostly to keep an eye on my small dog that gets under the fence when yhe light comes on it scares him to come back inside

Ring Spotlight Cam works great, get great video and can keep an eye on the vehicles.

Great quality camera very clear. Downside is battery runs out. Recommend to get the wired one or the one with the solar panel to avoid recharging the battery
