They work great, and the interior cameras batteries hold a charge for several weeks.

Sometimes loses WiFi connection but that’s a problem on my end not because of device. Light on it is fairly dim (low lumen) but to be expected on a non floodlight device. Siren is definitely loud enough to be heard.

I have it set on person only mode. However, it continues to alert on a patio umbrella that flutters a little teeny bit in the wind. It should recognize the difference been a person and a little bit of fabric swaying in the breeze.

Also, it continues to say the battery compartment door is open when it definitely is closed. When it does work the video quality is very good.

Based on your review, it seems that you are having trouble with your Ring Spotlight Camera picking up the correct motion. If this is the case, you may want to adjust your motion settings. Motion Frequency is a control in the Ring app that allows you to customize motion alerts to your home environment. When the areas that you’re monitoring have excessive or repetitive motions, such as children playing in a yard, you may receive too many alerts, which can drain battery-operated devices too fast. Motion frequency controls were designed to help you get the notifications that you want and preserve battery life. ||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly the only down side is that the motion detector sucks and when there is motion, the video takes way too long to load, I don’t know if it’s the app or the actually camera, but that’d be my only complaint. Other than that, it’s pretty good, video and live views are really good quality.
