If notifications are delayed, or the Live View on your Spotlight Cam loads slowly, it could be due to a weak or unstable wifi signal. Delivery trucks, jogging neighbors nothing. It only detects people leaving the house. By then it’s too late! 2. Battery life is 30 days max. For $200, I should not have random to no alerts nor should I have to buy an extra battery. Bought my boyfriend a $60 camera for his shop that works better. If i didn’t toss the box I would have returned.

Ring knows the importance of having the motion detection work as intended. It is a valuable feature that is designed to notify you as to who may be near your home. Please know that it is a priority for us to be of assistance and find a resolution to your concern.
It sounds like the Motion Frequency feature may not have been set up properly for your environment within the Ring App. Ring's Motion Frequency algorithm is an internal program that runs inside of your Ring device. It analyzes the traffic patterns of detected motions, looking for repetitive patterns. When it detects such a pattern, it essentially "sleeps" your device for a certain period of time, cutting down the number of motion alerts you'll get from the same set of stimuli. The more time a repetitive pattern of motion continues, the longer the time between issuing motion alerts.
